About Me
Hello there my friend! I'm Belle and welcome to my blog - An Old Fashioned Girl!
Some things about me, primarily I am a servant and a friend of Jesus Christ. I want every thing I do in all of my life to bring glory to him. I am also a writer; a novelist who dreams of making her living through telling stories. It probably goes without saying, but I love stories and words in general - movies, tv shows, poetry, songs, and of course, books.

About the Blog
I created An Old Fashioned Girl Spring of 2023. I wanted a place to share my writing and passions. I have a deep love for literature, history, God's creation, and helping tween and teen girls to find joy in life. This blog is the place where I share about all of those things.
An Old Fashioned Girl is inspired by the classic novel with the same title by Louisa May Alcott. I was inspired to create a place to share my thoughts on the simple things in life - the old fashioned things. As I thought about it, I began to realize that this would also be an amazing outlet to share my faith, because to they eyes of the world, faith in Jesus can often seem "old fashioned."
The main purpose of my blog, the message I like to shout from figurative rooftops is this - there is beauty in everything, especially the small and insignificant things.
If any of this sounds good to you, I would appreciate it if you would subscribe to support the blog!
