A Christmas Bucket List- 2024

You know what time of year it is! It is Christmastime. As I'm sure you know this is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about Christmas, the decorations, the emphasis on giving, the food, the smells, the movies, the music, the weather, and of course the focus on Jesus.
But, unfortunately it can be very easy to miss out on the things that we want to do since the holiday season is also full of shopping, parties, work, midterms and finals. To avoid the chaos, as you probably also know by now, I make a bucket list. This years bucket list is designed to not only help me do the fun seasonal things I would like to do, but also helps me remember that this season is about how Jesus humbled himself by coming to the earth as a baby to ultimately save us.

My favorite kind of bucket list is a bingo bucket list, but check boxes, moodboards, or plain old lists work great too.

Bucket List Tips
I have a few tips to how to make the most of your bucket list. The first is no matter what style you choose, is to put it up somehwere where you’ll see it everyday. This makes you so much more likely to do the things on your list.

Next, make the ideas attainable, things you can do any day you want or that take minimal planning.

And finally, take pictures! These can be of the things on your bucket list or just things you do through the month. Taking pictures solidifies in my mind that something happened and it helps preserve memories.
My Bucket List
Picture
My bucket list turned out so cute! I just used Sharpie gel pens and alcohol markers. I decided to go darker (and more vintagey) with the red border and green bow. And the doodles are just that, doodles. I freehand them, but if you want it to look a certain way, you can follow tutorials. I am no artist, but I enjoy doing these small drawings because this bucket list is just for me (and I show you, but I know you won’t judge. Take this as a reminder to not judge yourself so hard on things that are just for fun!)
Bucket List Ideas
Now onto the actual activities!
• Make fancy hot cocoa (this could be homemade, or just with lots of toppings.)
• Take cute pictures with your friends (this could be out in the snow, at church, by a Christmas tree, candids at a party, at a coffee shop, or while Christmas shopping. It’s just about taking a little time to create some pinteresty memories with your girls.)
• Buy a new winter hat or mittens
• Have a Christmas candlelit reading night (light candles, have a cup of your favorite festive drink, and cozy up with a Christmas book.)
• Buy or get out your Christmas PJ’s
• Make garlands (paper chains, orange, cranberry and popcorn)
• Make diy ornaments
• Go to a Christmas church service or Choir event
• Go on a drive looking for Christmas lights
• Dance in the kitchen to Ella Fitzgerald (this can be a solo activity or done with company.)
• Pick a bouquet of winter greenery and berries
• Write a Christmas short story or poem
• Do a Christmas devotional
• Do a festive Starbucks run
• Read at a coffee shop
Picture
• Bake cinnamon rolls
• Go to a Christmas craft fair or market
• Go ice skating or sledding or both
• Make a bracket of all the cheesy Christmas movies you watch this year
• Buy or make an advent calendar for yourself or someone else
• Catch snowflakes on your tongue (or alternately, dance in the snow)
• Decorate a gingerbread house
• Have a movie night themed around your favorite Christmas movie (mine is White Christmas)
• Have a night where you and your friends and family sing hymns by firelight
• Make Victorian Christmas cards (these get wild)
• Keep up with a Vlogmas series
• Romanticize wrapping Christmas gifts
• Buy Christmas Eve gifts for your family
• Make burr baskets for the people close to you
• Tie bows on everything (2024 is the year of the bow and we all know it.)
• Read and study Old Testament prophecy about Jesus
• Go to the library or bookstore and create a Christmas TBR
• Make a new-to-you holiday drink
• Send letters to people
• Watch or go see the Nutcracker
• Do a random act of kindness
• Have a slumber party near the Christmas tree
Picture
• Learn about Christmas traditions through history
• Learn about how Chrismtas is celebrated around the world
• Buy a bunch of interesting (or foreign) holiday snacks and make a dessert charcuterie board
• Drink tea by the fireplace
• Go skiing
• Make a gratitude list
• Binge Hallmark movies
• Take a walk while listening to classical Christmas music
• Make your ultimate Christmas playlist
• Bake Christmas cookies
• Make a day out of Christmas shopping.

So there are some ideas to get you started! What are some things you would like to do this Christmas? Let me know in the comments!!

I love this list, Belle! It’s such a beautiful mix of fun traditions and deeper reflections on the season. I’ve been doing some cleaning out this year—renting a dumpster and sorting through old decorations, clothes, and things I don’t need anymore. It’s been so refreshing to make space for the things that truly matter, and now I can focus more on these meaningful activities without the clutter!

In today's world, many people see natural herbal remedies as a valuable alternative for healing. Yet, only a few truly appreciate the effectiveness of Dr. Aigbomian's natural herbal treatments in addressing the herpes virus. From my own experience, I can happily share that Dr. Aigbomian's remedies helped me overcome HSV-2. His medication has delivered impressive results, and my test results show that I'm now free from the herpes virus. This success came from using just two bottles of his medication and carefully following his instructions. If you're interested, you can reach out to him via WhatsApp at +2349153323194 or email him at [email protected].

My name is Hailey Garcia and I am from New Jersey. My herpes virus turned to war after 2 years of living with it. I have tried different medical procedures to cure my herpes but to no avail. Most people think herpes is only a minor skin irritation of which herpes has long term effects on health and passes through the bloodstream and can be easily contracted through sexual intercourse. I knew I had herpes from the first day I started feeling itchy in my pubic area and the pain was very unbearable. I couldn't stand it anymore. After 2 years of trying other means to get rid of it, I had to contact Doctor AGBON to help me with a permanent cure. I saw his email and whats-app number from a testimony I read online from a lady who was also helped by him in curing infertility problems, I had faith and contacted him. He assured me of his work and I ordered his herbal medicine. Within 5 days, I didn't feel any pain anymore and within 2 weeks, my skin was all cleared and smooth. I am very grateful to you sir and I write this testimony as others have done to bring those having faith to you sir. If you have herpes or other similar disease and you want it cured, kindly contact Doctor AGBON, WhatsApp Number :+2349058797761

i am super excited this very moment indeed Dr Dominion is truly a good man, i doubted him from the beginning but right now i can trust him with my all because he has put a beautiful smile on my face and change my life from struggle to millionaire, what would i have done without him, just few months ago i was struggling wondering what would my life turn into, now i am here sharing a wonderful testimony of my life, after i explained my whole situation to him he took me as his own daughter and removed my family from shame, he prepared a lottery winning spell for me with true sincerity and gave me a winning number to play and that was how i won that jackpot, Dr Dominion took away my shame, my pain and my worries, what a humble man with a heart of gold, thank you so much i am very grateful for what you have done for me, should you have any interest in giving it a try or going through any difficulties i think he is the right man to talk to and i believe he can help
