Hello friends, Anne Shirley once said "It isn't as if birthdays were common things."

In some ways, she is very right. On birthdays we celebrate beautiful individual people, but yet, everyday is someone's birthday. This past weekend, I celebrated mine and am excited to share about that with you.

It's finally starting to get warm here in the Northeastern United States. After an April snowstorm and lots of rain, it's beginning to feel like spring.

When it gets warm, I always start craving cold drinks, so I decided to invent myself a signature drink - that just happens to be this lemonade!

There is so much to love about April, but one of my favorite things about this month is that it's national/global poetry month!  I adore poetry, and want everyone in the world to love it as much as I do!

So today, I'm sharing some current favorite poems, snatches of poems, poems I have written, and some tips on writing and reading poetry!
