10/23/2024 7 Comments The My Life In Books TagHi friends! A few weeks ago, my blogging friend Karis Anne tagged me in the My life in books book tag. If you are unfamiliar, book tags are lists of bookish questions that content creators will answer, then “tag” another creator to answer as well. It’s a fun way to share book recommendations and to interact with other members of the book community :).
That being said, I’m so excited to share my answers, and I hope that you’ll get to know me better, or will find some book recs through it.

“But the summer had been a very happy one, too - a time of glad living with summer suns and skies, a time of keen delight in wholesome things; a time of renewing and deepening of old friendships; a time in which she had learned to live more nobly, to work more patiently, to play more heartily.”

Most people in the reading community track their books through Goodreads or StoryGraph, but as the analogue girlie that I am, I prefer to track my reading with pen and paper. I’ve waxed poetic about Louisa May Alcott, Jane Austen, and Maud Hart Lovelace. These are the literary women I am daily inspired by, the ones who have written books that have shaped me. We all have favorite authors, people whose books never fail to excite, who we’ll pick up any scribble they wrote from shopping lists to epic poems.
Though Alcott is my favorite author, there is another who comes close, she may even be the true favorite, the jury is still out. 2/20/2024 16 Comments The Get To Know Ya Book TagI’m pretty much always reading. There’s really not a time when I’m not in the middle of a book, that’s why I was so excited when my friend and fellow blogger E.G. Runyan tagged me in this book tag.
Hi friends! This week I am super excited to share a post by my friend Ann from the blog Where Brook and River Meet! I personally love the blog she co-writes and was honored to write a post for them about organization and mental health. If you would like to read that post, click here.
With that being said, I hope you enjoy this great post about books from Ann! I know I personally got some great ideas of books to add to my TBR. 1/9/2024 12 Comments The Best Books I Read in 2023It’s no secret that I read a lot of books. At the start of 2023 I decided that I was going to track my reading. I had never done this before and wanted to see how many books I read a year, what books I liked best, and how many times I re-read books.
In this blog post I’m sharing with you all the stats, how many books I read, what authors I read the most, and the best books of the year (with a few more thrown in there.) I am so excited about this, so what are we waiting for? Let's get into it. |
