What I'm Grateful For -2024

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Did you know that I am thankful for you? I’m so grateful for the fact that there are so many of you who want to read what I have to say. It truly means the world to me.

This week on the blog I want to dedicate some time to talk about what I am thankful for.  We’re going past basic necessities that we are all blessed to have, like food, water, and free-religion, and more to the specific blessings God has given. Gratitude is so important, not just this time of year. I don’t want to be the only one to talk about what I’m grateful for, so please put your own gratitude lists in the comments. 

• Affordable education
• My own bedroom (anyone who has ever shared a room knows how amazing it is to have your own room)
• A public library.
• My little doggo Toby
• Fairy lights
• Starbucks
• Amazon prime
• Electric kettles and loose leaf tea
• My two close friends that I met on the internet <3
• My christmas decorations which yes, are already up
• Cold weather (I love it so much)
• Access to fresh fruit all year round
• Laughter
• Sweaters
• Booktube
• Candles
• My car
• My job (even though it’s hard)
• My Bible study and youth group
• Fuzzy blankets
• Flowers
• That even though these past few months have been really tough, God has been working through it and promises better days
• The trips I was able to take this year
• My friend who’s always down for taking .5s, and getting a fun drink 
• My siblings who make me laugh
• Parents who are so incredibly supportive
• Extended family who is also so supportive and cares about the small details
• that are my world
• Google docs (where would I be without you my dear google docs?)
• Weeby and Kit (which make blogging possible)
• Bows and ribbon
• Classical music
• Flexible schedule
• My academic advisor who has been such a blessing in my life
• My cousins
• Our pellet stove
• Books
• Fountain pens
• Microwave popcorn

I want to reemphasize how grateful I am to each and every person who reads my posts, opens my emails, and watches my videos. I have a dream of being an online big sister to so many girls who struggle, don't know who they are, and are afraid and anxious. You are a blessing to me because you being here is an answer to that prayer. We have just hit 100 email list subscribers which feels amazing! Thank you to all who are subscribed to the blog.

Honestly there is so much more. God has blessed me so much, he blesses all of his children. So thank God this thanksgiving and give him the thanks he deserves.
